The 2026 Bar Examinations closed on Sunday, September 13, after three days of testing, Philstar.com reports. Results are expected in January, according to the same outlet.

The final day drew coverage from several Philippine news organizations. Inquirer.net reported that the last day of testing had begun, while GMA News Online published photos from the closing session. The Daily Tribune framed its coverage around the remaining candidates, noting that nearly all hopefuls had one exam day left.

Support for examinees was visible outside the testing venues. ABS-CBN News, in a post shared on Facebook, reported that members of the University of Santo Tomas Law Bar Operations turned out to back more than 100 Bar candidates from the university as the examinations ended.

The Bar Examinations are the final requirement for law graduates seeking admission to the Philippine legal profession. Passing the Bar is a prerequisite for practicing law in the country. The tests are administered under the supervision of the Supreme Court.

With the three-day cycle now over, attention shifts to the release of results in January. Philstar.com reports that the outcomes are due that month, though no specific date has been given. Candidates and law schools will be watching for the Supreme Court's official announcement in the coming months.
